I hate the objectification of the women from Amazon Lily, but Boa Hancock is by far the best, she overcame slavery, but I hope she stops being objectified because that ruins her character for me

Beauty and sensuality aren't the same in my opinion, what if there was a crew of handsome men who won by seducing women, that feels disgusting to even think about

Especially because that's like a mysoginistic stereotype, as if all they had was sensuality, and they are reduced to that, it's like affirming that idea, when it doesn't have to be the case, Yamato is a bit sexualised but other than that her character doesn't have that and is instead just incredible, or look at Tashigi

They use men's desires against them to protect themselves. It's not the same thing.

I agree about the oversexualization of women in the story, but it's a shounen... Par for the course.

People really need to go back and read amazon lily when Hancock was introduced, Oda has never drawn a more beautiful woman.

I wouldn't say the anime did her dirty but didn't NEARLY capture her beauty in the manga
