Versus Battle Which fight was better? G0jo vs Sukuna or Chrollo vs Hisoka?

I am gonna give R1 to Chrollo vs Hisoka for now. I plan to reread the G0jo vs Sukuna fight from the start to see if it flows better and might change my mind then.
R2 I am going with G0jo vs Sukuna. A few reasons for it are that I started HxH late, so didn't really get to see the hype around the fight online, and G0jo vs Sukuna generated something generational ngl. The streets were moving with every chapter. Don't remember the last time something generated that much hype everywhere.
R3 also going with G0jo and Sukuna. I just like them slightly better. Chrollo and Hisoka are awesome and among my faves too, but the first two edge it out.
R2 I am going with G0jo vs Sukuna. R1;
This is something you get in 1/100 shonen fights.
It is better in terms of how Jujutsu lore was explained and used to the max. It is where the juice of JJK is.
The way Go jo tried everything and how Sukuna was able to decipher it all, counter it, endure through it and come out on top was amazing.
Hisoka vs Chrollo fight was great, but I liked Go jo vs Sukuna more.

Hype wise, Go jo vs Sukuna is a clear winner. Even One Piece leakers were hyping up 236. We got leaks 2-3 hours early than Myamura's leak schedule.
The first panel I saw was Go jo turning into Go - Jo π
Took some time to process this, but now I think it was the best conclusion to this fight. Sukuna needed be established as a villain and killing Go jo did an excellent job.

Lmao it's actually funny you make this comparison. I was comparing them myself for the past couple days. Reading Gojo vs Sukuna reminded me of Chrollo vs Hisoka.
Both of these fights legit require pen and paper to follow and maybe even a calculator lmao. And both of these fights are as cut throat as they get, someone was guaranteed to catch a body by the end of them, and in both fights the winner is taking the safest most guaranteed route to victory, not tryna be honourable but simply realistic. Getting this win at any cost, plain and simple, not trying to be pretty while doing it.
In doing so both Chrollo and Sukuna pretty much used borrowed abilities throughout the entire fight lmao.
Atm I prefer Chrollo vs Hisoka, that fight on a tactical/technical level is the best I've ever read.
But maybe I just need to reread Sukuna vs Gojo. Ever since Gege pretty much admitted he didn't know how some abilities work I started to zone out on a lot of the nitty gritty of JJK battles, a lot of it seems like improvisation, and I can't care to put so much effort into something which the author himself may not have a complete grasp on.
Honestly JJK as a whole is like a blend of HxH and Bleach, it has HxH's complexity but it's delivered in Bleach fashion (style> substance kinda vibe), which makes it that much more puzzling than HxH even though HxH is just as complex if not more, but it's just better laid out.
Tldr; I think Sukuna vs Gojo is far more impactful, and downright a better spectacle than Chrollo vs Hisoka. Which is enough to place it above Chrollo vs Hisoka. But I just can't get over how technically sound Chrollo vs Hisoka is, so until a reread and deeper dive changes my mind, I give Chrollo vs Hisoka the nod.

Those two fights are indeed similar
For round 1 : I think Chrollo vs Hisoka is a better fight in itself
It made more sense from the beginning to the end and the rhythm and flow was better. Better pacing too.
If we are counting Hisoka bullshit rebirth then it made the fight a bit less impactful but still better.
Round 2 is for Gojo and Sukuna. The hype was through the roof and weeks and weeks it was hype memes and discussions.
Itβs also true like Light said, I was not here to follow weekly Chrollo vs Hisoka, I was a late reader.
But Gojo vs Sukuna is teased since chap 1 and is at endgame too. Itβs THE fight of the JJK manga.
While Chrollo vs Hisoka is more like a side quest and still isnβt finished yet.

Weekly Chrollo vs Hisoka was pretty fun. Chrollo was the Sukuna, and Hisoka was the fan favourite Gojo. Lot of bets were placed Hisoka fans were super cocky and super fucking salty when he lost. But I never understood why because Hisoka was never the Gojo of his verse lmao. I enjoyed Hisoka's demise far more in that sense.

Ngl, I am having a hard time seeing what fight can generate more hype that G0jo vs Sukuna. Afaik, we have a Yonko vs Admiral now, and no one seems to care that much. In one of the other new big 3, we got AFO vs OFA, nerfed and stuff albeit, but again no one cares lol. In other manga, I really don't see any special fight now ngl.
Maybe stuff like Zoro vs Mihawk, Mihawk vs Shanks, or something. But Oda isn't the type to dedicate like 2 volumes to fights of such characters, while we had G0jo and Sukuna for some 15 chapters. Plus pretty much no cutaways, except some small ones, but nothing major. And with two such hyped up characters.

Both fell off. No other reason to it than that mostly lol. G5 is a joke and Deku sucks hence why no one really cares. JJK on the other hand as held itβs edge through itβs fights this entire time, something MHA lacks even if it may have the edge as far as the cast goes. Also Oda would never dedicate 2 straight volumes to one fight lol, if he did and it didnβt involve bad writing it would definitely pop off more but I donβt see that happening, even with a match up like Zoro vs Mihawk.
Ngl HxHβs art coupled with the long dialogue makes it difficult to follow lol. I donβt even remember it like that, all I remember was that Chrollo was deploying multiple abilities while going on a monologue about they each worked. If it is ever animated it would definitely be one of the best fights.
