Don't mind casual comments about either, but both are pretty annoying as actual sub-groups. The difference is that I can avoid shipping pretty easily (I don't use tumblr or twitter lol), but there's no One Piece space online (forums/social media/reddit/discord/etc, doesn't matter) where you can avoid powerscaling or agenda influenced by powerscaling.
The best you can get is like private discords, or sometimes discords based around content creators and not the series itself, which shouldn't count for this cause they're not public discussion spaces that anybody could use.
So, in the end powerscaling is more toxic in practice, since you actually have to interact with it as a fan no matter who you are.
If I'm gonna be fair about it though, the popularity of powerscaling is largely cause it is a major part of the series' writing. It's constantly reinforced so we can gauge progress (not only of individual characters but also the balance of power between factions etc.) and predict future developments within a reasonable set of expectations. People just spiral off and lose the plot with it, that's all
