Please, Meruem alone has more developments than all One Piece characters put together.
Yeah Meruem is overkill on his own lol. And when you add Killua, Kurapika, etc, it becomes a slaughter.

Title, there is a poll.
I think HxH and I don't give a fuck if one piece angels cry about it. HxH's characters getting development feels more natural and realistic.

OP characters and their development feels very expected and foretold by everyone, there is no naturality in this.

Prime example would be Gon and you Light probably know that I never liked MCs and especially Gon. His emotions thru the Chimera Ant arc feel so fucking realistic and progressive for someone of his age/kind and etc....

Luffy would try to liberate Pitou and give him a spot in the Grand Fleet.

Why do you not like Gon?

I said knock yourself out, which means you do you. But you are so desperate to get that last "fuck off" in that you refuse to just end this conversation amicably like I've been trying. If you really wanted me to "fuck off" the best way to do it is by stop saying it.
Fuck off.

Why do you not like Gon?
This might be from the early days when I first tried HxH. I probably expected something else from Gon. Tho later down the line I started respecting more truthful to themselves MCs rather than those reaching for the skies.

So I respect Gon's development but not necessarily like him if that makes sense.

Gotcha, I think Gon is one of those rare MCs that always keep it real. I truly never felt like Gon was annoying when I watched the anime/read the manga.

Its kinda rare for shounen MCs tbh.

I'm gonna go ahead and fuck on.
You don't have to announce it to me. Bye.

Yeah. The emotions he goes thru during the Chimera Ant arc feel so realistic.

Gon never annoyed me either, I probably had some different priorities for what to look for from the MCs when I first started HxH and Gon probably didn't fit into them but my priorities changed over time too.

He is very realistic for a world that can be considered a fantasy ish one.

That's cap lmfao. You have Luffy confused for Naruto.
Not really. Pitou likes to listen. If Luffy fought Pitou they would talk a lot and if Luffy found a chance to change Pitou's mind he will try.

It doesn't mean Pitou would jump on the ship or join Grand Fleet from the get go but I could see a scenario where Pitou just walks off from the Chimera Ant arc ( we are assuming it's Luffy here and his world logic too ) so later it's a return time during a bigger conflict or something like that.

Nah Luffy's never been the one for talk. He's only about action, especially against an enemy who turned someone he loves into a zombie.

He wouldn't react like Gon either though, Gon turned into an antihero he was villain like, but Luffy's not out there to talk and convince people, you got the wrong character.

I agree with this ngl. I am not a big fan of Gon, but I can't say I dislike him or anything like that. And I usually dislike the mcs, except in very specific cases lol.
