Which has better character development HxH or One Piece?

Nah Luffy's never been the one for talk. He's only about action, especially against an enemy who turned someone he loves into a zombie.

He wouldn't react like Gon either though, Gon turned into an antihero he was villain like, but Luffy's not out there to talk and convince people, you got the wrong character.

Luffy likes to talk during the fights and figure out why his opponents are like that and what they are aiming for.

I probably overestimated by saying they would talk the entire fight but there should be talks and Luffy trying to understand his opponent before trying to liberate him out of his misery

I don't think I can remember a single fight where Luffy is actually having a discussion with an enemy. The most you'll get is him screaming or some snarky remarks here or there.

I overestimated by saying he will have full blown discussions I realized it 2 replies ago.

His enemies always talk to him about their views and plans and Luffy always tells them off or argues with their agendas.

Crocodile, Enel, Katakuri, Doflamingo, Kaido and etc etc. I should've formulated that differently and said that Luffy would always try to liberate someone out of their beliefs if they are wrong in his eyes. Not like his views are crystal clear but w/e.
