I'm curious if they had any way to track Revolutionary location on the kamabakka island, when they intercepted Sabo's call.

But who knows how that thing works and why they chose Lulusia out of all the possible islands they could blow up.

I don't think Imu can afford that.
There is only so much lying to the public you can do until someone calls you out.
Lulusia got destroyed after rebelling against the WG and now the story is that it never existed.
Thats already a gamble after one island that I doubt this should work after more and more islands.

I think Lulusia was a one timer for now. Maybe less about destroying a rebellious island and more a message to the revs.

It would be a cool twist if it will be the next island the SHs will go next. Imu's weapon could be the classic "time bomb to stop" every arc,or,but this second option is probably too dark for One Piece,imagine this: the SHs save the country,they say hello and leave,and suddendly,you see a glimpse of Imu's weapon like in Lulucia,and the island gets destroyed! Dark but cool.

I feel the attack is electrical and Gear 5 awakening turning everything into rubber is the antidote to that power\weapon .
