Nah, I didn't want to see Sanji fighting a Yonko since he is weak as dirt instead I just wanted him not to go to a brothel while his captain and vice-captain are fighting a Yonko. That is the least Sanji can do.

Realistically if Sanji didn't go to Black Maria Oda probably would've just had Sanji fight Fodder Offscreen, or pull a Denjiro on Sanji and not have him show up in chapters until a certain point. Sanji Vs Queen would have started after Roof Piece regardless if he was with Black Maria or not.

Honestly From a writing standpoint if all Sanji was going to do in Onigashima is fight Queen cant be mad at oda for utilizing him in other ways. The Black Maria Vs Sanji thing didn't really hurt Sanji since the story has already established Sanji is incompetent against women since 2006. Its just a nice way to setup a fight for Nico Robin after 18 years of her not fighting.

I know that Page One is far more strong than Usopp. Of course he is. But Usopp has always fought against guys stronger than him (and even defeated them)
It's been too long since we've seen him use strategy in a fight.

There is 0 strategy that would allow Usopp to defeat him in a straight 1v1 without any outside help. Like, Usopp isn't Batman, some prep time won't allow him to defeat someone that much stronger.

I don't agree on that, but even if it was the case, Oda found a way to make Nami win her fight against Ulti, even after being attacked by Big Mom.

It could have been the same with Page One, except it didn't happen.

Nami wasn't a pure 1v1, Big Mom took like 99% of her hp away. If you wanted the same thing with Usopp, aka him being useless till the end, then it would happen. But once again, Usopp isn't Batman.

I want to see his attacks having an impact on stronger enemies. Like Nami does to Ulti, weakened or not. I want to feel a progression.

I don't really care if it's not a pure 1v1. I think every Usopp fans knows that he will always be the weakest.
