There obviously was otherwise Imu wouldn’t personally knew Niddhogg. Also he knows Ragnir and calls him by that name not Ratatoskr, the name of the Squirell of the original War God of Elbaf.

But Imu is trying talk the Zoan spirit Here.

So Imu is familiar with Nidhogg Zoan but not their hosts like Loki and previous users

I am not quite sure, Imu said the giant and himself aren't meant to be compatible. At certain point of time, Imu and the giants were working together until the wielder of the Nidhogg betrayed him, not like he never actually interact with the giant before. That's my guess. Or there could be something to do with the first world, it could be many things.

As I keep saying, the first world second world shit needs to stop for now. It gets confusing and you have people ruling out things we haven't even touched yet.

It seems like Imu vs Joyboy really came down to everyone choosing between two sides. Then we have Lili probably being misunderstood by Imu, and Zunesha misunderstanding its own role. Nidhoggr right now can be anywhere

I think a key piece of information is when the Galleila giants were, presumably, frozen by Ratatoskr when he was in Imu's circle. If they were the ones that built the Noah then that would mean there was a Nidhogg user in the second world, who may or may not be the Warrior God.

I forgot one detail that is so obvious that I didn't have the answer, and I think it connects to Nidhogg being a traitor. He was called God of War, I always has the mindset of him being the partner of Nika and fought alongside him. But since Nika never won a single war, where did Elbaph gets the title God of War from? Imu in this chapter clarifies it, Nidhogg helped Imu won the war. Then he betrayed Imu because of unknown reason. From Jarul's memory, Ratatoskr and Ragnir were still not the same entity yet, maybe Imu could have witnessed Ragnir ate Ratatoskr or something.
