When it comes to the Blackbeard Pirates, between Jesus Burgess and Vasco Shot which one do you think will fight Jinbe?

Burgess is the helmsman of the crew, captain of the first ship, and his devil fruit power is the Strong-Strong Fruit.

Vasco Shot is the captain of the Eighth Ship, a former level 6 prisoner from Impel Down, and his devil fruit power is the Glug-Glug Fruit.


Both Jinbe and Burgess are the helmsman of their crews.

Also Jinbe has the highest tolerance to alcohol among the Straw Hat Pirates, meanwhile Vasco Shot is known as the Heavy Drinker because of him constantly drinking alcohol.

So if Jinbe fights one of them, which one do you think he will fight?

Burgess. Very powerful and dangerous fruit for a martial arts practitioner to be tasked with facing and contrasts well with Jimbei doing great internal damage with his attacks whilst Burgess simply does ridiculously powerful outward damage with his strength. Could make for a nice fight.

I'd expect better than the Who's Who fight, which was good but that opponent wasn't close enough to Jimbei in contrast to Burgess.

Vasco could work well enough against Brook. Both perverts though Vasco is much more heinous and fire vs ice could make for an appealing fight.

If Sabo goes to complete his promise to cobra before Straw Hats vs Blackbeard then Sabo will probably fight Burgess as they have a lot of history that kinda mirrors jack vs inu.

If not then it has to be burgess as i don’t see any other straw hat under the mid trio really matching burgess’ style

I see the matchups as positional mirrors so I go w Burgess for helmsman fight. They both are powerful martial artists as well.

Jinbei vs Burgess will probably be the underdog fight of the BBP arc.

Both martial artists, just pure brute strength/brawler fight, with some dynamics and techniques that can be very amusing to see.

Jinbei will benefits more from fighting Burgess than Vasco since Jinbei will improve his physical stats + Armament Haki to the next level.

Water vs fire seems like a bad match-up so I had Brook vs Vasco. And while my Vasco having ghost/supernatural fruit theory didn't come true, ice vs fire would still make an interesting fight.
