Scars by definition are less damaging then broken bones. literally the only way a scar could defeat Kaidou is if it got infected. you can actually die of broken bones.

Infections in One Piece usually mean just viruses or something it will involve Chopper anyway

It all depends on the quantity of damage and the threat that injury can pose in the long time but this isn't completely a Zoro forum anymore sorrowfully
