General & Others Which part of this Flashback is Loki and Gaban explaining?

So whenever a flashback is happening and a character is explaining it, you expect that most of what is being shown on panel is also being spoken offscreen by the character explaining it.

like Kin’emon told most, if not all, of what happened in the Oden flashback to Luffy. (Maybe except the scenes between Orochi and his grandmother, those are the ones that are coming from a narrator point of view)

And there are flashbacks where no one is explaining anything like the skypiea flashback where we don’t have a character telling anyone this story of Noland’s and Calgara so whatever.

But this Harald Loki Flashback is bizarre since it’s supposedly Loki and Gaban telling bits and pieces of the story but there’s SIGNIFICANT SHIT that they obviously didn’t know that is appearing in this flashback. Like Luffy isn’t being told right now that Rocks is Teach’s father, right? Neither Gaban nor Loki know this right? Luffy also isn’t being told about Harald and Rocks’ adventures in Mariejois since Gaban and Loki don’t know shit about this.

This flashback is hype but Oda is kinda of playing fast and loose about what we expect characters to know and not know.

It's more like Loki flashback.

But Entire life of Harold isn't in his Flashback. That's something we get as reader.

If Loki we were to tell us , Why he killed his father or whatever , we will never understand what's going on.

Loki Probably is only gonna tell us about Why he killed Harold.

We got a flashback of a flashback of another flashback :)
Loki to Harald to Xebec

Ig Oda wants to sped up the overall story
Seeing how much flashback and lore to be uncovered, 10 years isn't even enough, unless if certain events are forced into one place at a time.
Oda is probably aware of that

Huh? You think 90% of The otohime flashback was information Jimbei didn’t know?

or 90% of the oden flashback?

or 90% of the Nami flashback?
I meant 90% of number of Flashbacks We got so far,
Not 90% of each Flashback,

Zoro Flashback was First One, He wasn't telling anyone about it,
Same for Sanji Flashback,
Same for Noland Flashback,
Same for Franky Flashback,
Robin Flashback,
Big Mom Flashback,
Law & Doffy Flashback,
Kuma Flashback, (But it was witnessed by Bonney)
Oden Flashback, (But Kin'emon mentioned it few volumes before)
... etc

It's rare to see a Flashback being told by someone at same time it is being shown, such as Nami Flashback & Jinbe Flashback.
As for your question regarding Loki Flashback, He or Gaban are telling about the Night of Harald's Death which is indeed how this Flashback started, but then the Narrator took over, and started showing what existed before & what eventually led to that chaotic day

He wasn't telling anyone about it,
Read my original post. I already said that there’s two types of flashbacks. The ones where someone is telling characters in the story something and the ones where it’s narrator telling a story no one knows

and in the former type of flashbacks Oda is very good at keeping most of the information something the person telling the story would know

I already addressed this

and the weird thing being that this Loki flashback is the first one where most of what is being shown Gaban and Loki have no idea about
