based on my latest op theory this is my call for the blackbeard fight matchups. everyone is listed in order of 1v1s should they occur, but they will probably be team fights.

Most likely Zoro. Shiryu is being portrayed as BB's YC1. Less probably vice captain like in my opinion but still the second strongest man in all likelihood. And a swordsman.

I'm fine with Oda going the route of Zoro facing him. They're both swordsman after all. Sanji fighting him, while also invisible, would be quite weird, honestly. I'd enjoy that fight of course but I'm also cool with other options for Sanji like Avalo Pizarro or Jesus with a strong fruit.

I wish Oda made Shiryu a woman instead. Having one of Zoro's EoS opponents be a monstrously powerful female swordsman would've been a nice full-circle moment for him and Wado Ichimoji.

Prior the rooftop feats, i would say zoro.
But it seems like zoro has gotten too strong too quickly in wano.
Even at his current powerscaling right now, which can range from somewhere between Marco and Fuji,
he should be able to take on Shiryu right now.

I guess what I am saying is zoro vs. shiryu can happen, but it won't be an extreme diff fight for zoro EOS.
It would be more of a fair fight to have sanji near EOS vs shiryu in terms of power level, but the issue is we can't find someone in BB crew near/higher than zoro's level besides BB himself.
