Because aside from Zoro and Luffy I don't see how the others can do shit to him. Maybe law because of hax but the others are not needed.

for Hawkins his trump card will likely be used against Kaido . and maybe Apoo's sounds are actually traversing through the bodies before blasting/slicing them , hence covering ears

now i guess X-Calibur can hurt Kaido .

i don't recall Kong Gun being used & ineffective against Kaido in the first fight , and X-Calibur was put side to side with a stronger Kong Gun ( Luffy got physically stronger after Udon ) . if being put side to side means they are ~ with each other

and Drake used 2 sharp weapons as well
( rapier sword and 4 blades axe )

that or Drake actually has a stronger attack than X-Calibur .

But I don't think many will join honestly. They don't possess the haki and the physical perks to even hurt Base Kaido, let alone his Hybrid form. Not to mention without a decent haki protection they would fail to survive multiple hits.
