Advanced Haki is where the mistakes have came in.
He should have just kept the base uses and only had CoC be the one that was a super special attack (because CoC, despite being the main one, is useless in a one vs one fight in its base form).
CoO was just Mantra, fairly established vague empath/ dodging power, CoA was needed for some otherwise broken DFs, CoC was cool but needed a boost.
For the advanced ones.
FS was always a mistake. It’s either too overpowered, or it gets bypassed/ignored and is useless.
CoA, offensively at least, is now just worse CoC.
And there’s the whole “what even is this“ argument that we now get whenever lightning is involved.
Hardening was excusable as a visual tool, to avoid us having to question if Haki was being used or not, but the current situation is fa
