It is a book that Imu and Gorosei might be inspired by.
As you can see, several of those monsters are matching the Elders.

I don’t think he’ll be a Yokai. Instead, I believe Garling will be a Fenrir, a wolf from Norse mythology. Garling is “moon-shaped,” and the werewolf is a “moon” creature. Fenrir is a monstrous wolf in Norse mythology, and Saturn has a moon named “Fenrir.” Fenrir has two opposite sons—Hati and Skoll, which I think could represent Shanks and his brother.

its funny since a lot of people compared shanks to tyr who got his arm bitten off by fenrir ( represented by sea king) and later on died to garm the hound of hell ( though there are theories that garm and fenrir were once one and the same because garm only appears in one story and is often described as chained which fits with fenrir ( plus fenrir killing tyr the one who bound him is fitting)
