Even individually,
Oda forces us to feel sorry for villain (the same for good guys) and also makes them retarded in funny ways, while Kishi makes it seem natural with villain stories and convictions
Look at Kuma for an example,
Oda went on abusing the whole "suffering trope" with excessive pain he had to endure
The problem with Oda is that the less we know is when characters seem interesting, he can't really write great villains when he starts fleshing them out

What? All Pain = Nagato, that means every thought, everything Pain was saying, or everything Pain's doing was also Nagato.

but thats the point tho, u said Pain wasn't himself, he was controlled by someone else, and i said if thats someone else is Nagato. Pain = Nagato cuz they are the same thing.
By this logic, U basically think that Pain is a different being than Nagato which is not true at all. Which is the same as what i said. We all think Pain = Nagato except for u. Different Body? Yes, but their thought, what their spoken are still the same cuz its coming from Nagato. Nagato uses dif body cuz its way efficient to use Rinnegan power that way Cuz He Can't even Move. Hence Pain = Nagato.
