Who are the most hated characters in the forum?
Ok before you guys change this to powerscaling, I want to reiterate, this is about character who are hated for their writing not downplayed. You can downplay characters you like. I want this to be about characters who're hated for being themselves instead of niche power level debates in here.
With that out of the way, I'll give my top 5 list.
please note the reasoning is NOT what I personally believe but what I presume the logic of the haters is.
1) Sanji
I don't think this is a controversial pick at all. Sanji is easily the most hated character in here. This can be due to his pervy annoying gag, "boring" fighting style and an annoying fanbase. Also the Sanji fanbase is enemies with the Zoro fanbase which is the biggest fanbase here hence he's the most hated. This is fueled by both in-story rivalry and fanbase rivalry
2) Kaido
Hated for his extremely poor writing. This is a common take in the overall fanbase too. Kaido was a terribly written villain. He's also an extremely controversial character powerscaling wise too and is on the hate agenda of admiral fans who're the second biggest fanbase here. Hence, combine that with his piss poor writing, he's not hard to hate at all.
3) Luffy
Gear 5. That's all.
4) Big Mom
Fat. Egregious design. Most underwhelming Yonko in the series. Not likeable at all. Is a mental midget who kills all tension. Easiest top tier to shit on in terms of powerscaling too. Has a mid backstory too.
5) Zoro/Shanks
They're both way too good and the haters are salty as fuck that these 2 ruin all their agendas
Ah well. 5th spot had to be tied between these two. I love both so this will be a tough write
But, both have terrible and obnoxious fanbases. Both are "bland" characters. One is edgy and the other is a boring gary stu. And both are THE most controversial powerscaling characters.
And fuck it, both are too good. They constantly disrupt agendas and change the limits of what's possible. And their haters usually end up eating shit. So a lot of pent up salt.
