Shanks actually managed to communicate with Greenbull before Greenbull used CoO to detect that the RHP were near

It's not like Greenbull wasn't completely distracted doing something else before getting sneak attacked by an all out CoC blast, like you're trying to make it look like here, thus showing us again that being distracted affects CoO by a lot.

A supposedly fainted Sanji detecting Luffy without even having a visual clue (unlike Kid, Hyogoro and everyone else who were looking up) and being the first one to sense something was going on is already a big deal.

Assuming GB's feat was CoO, his reach was ridiculously better than almost any character we've seen, including Enel, whose observation is augmented by his devil's fruit. More or less the same goes for Shanks as he could tell exactly what was going on in Wano when he was outside its borders. Sanji's not even in the same universe as GB or Shanks as far as it goes range.
