Wtf are you talking about? There aren't even that many Gorosei stans except for those like @Shiroyru and maybe a very few others.

Most who were jumping on the Gorosei bandwagon were either Yonko fans or some Admiral fans who were using the Gorosei to downplay the other side.

Actual Gorosei fans are in a very small minority, and it's kind of hard to be a huge fan of a group in which each Elder never had any central character focus with the exception of Saturn and Garling.

Also in defense of the Elders, no one and I mean no one on Egghead could truly handle the Elders, why else do you think the Giants, Bonney and the Pacfistas, the Vegapunks, and even Emet especially towards the end had to help the Straw Hats and Giants escape.

Again If it wasn't for Emet towards the end, the Straw Hats and the Giants would have been defeated for good.

Also we haven't even seen most of them in a full fight yet and three of the Elders have yet to even show off their hybrid forms.

Once we see them in action again in the future, in hopefully 1v1 fights, then we will know how strong they truly are compared to how they were handled back on Egghead.

Isn't imu the obvious answer? Imu will have to leave at some point but he is still luffy's fight.

Oda is not that complex of a writer when it comes to tension; he never de-escalates, like even where 85% of the shs were out in TB and the remaining ones would at that point be able to be defeated by dudes 2-3 arcs ago he sent in Kuma, a Warlord he took time to portray as superior to Moria prior

The only way i see a shamrock fight happening if he is getting defeated/repelled, is shamrock comes and he gets an Omen Buff PLUS imu posses him or something along those lines

I do think Luffy fighting Imu while Wings fight HK would be the official end of the Trio portion of the “Monster trio” sure they’d still be the three strongest, but at this point it would officially be Luffy then a duo far below him.

Yes Luffy has fought opponents much stronger then the wings opponent in the past with help; however, this would be the first time Oda has Zoro and Sanji fight subordinates of subordinates of Luffys fight.

Each other time they’ve either been just one rank below (Kaido -> Calamity, Crocodile -> Officer Agents) or in one occasion the same rank (CP9).

This would be the first time there’d be two ranks of separation. It’s like Luffy fighting Fleet Admiral and Wings fight Vice Admirals, or Luffy fighting Kaido and Wings fight Tobi Roppo

So even though it’d be unheard of for Oda to bring shamrock back to the arc, it’s equally unheard of for Luffy to have this much separation in rank of opponents

Loki will somehow turn against Elbaf whether cuz he found out smtg bad about it or Mosa or he gets domi reversed

Luffy will beat sense into him. Jumping straight to beating even nerfed Imu would absolutely destroy any hype Imu has as overhead villain
