Future Events Who is more likely to have CoC, Koby or Sanji?

Literally nothing in this chapter confirmed Koby as Luffy's marine rival.
People need to get a grip.
Koby's moment in Marineford already thrust him forward as the future of the Navy; I thought this was already known.
The future as in the more moral approach in contrast with Sakazuki's absolutism and wanton violence.
The future as in this character stood up to an admiral; leading to the entire battlefield pausing and thrusting the spotlight onto him as he defended his fellow soldiers lives.
Aka a sure way to become a popular officer/a guiding light and sort of; "hero" figure.
I knew this instantly more than a decade ago; down to that Koby would become known as a "hero" but for different reasons than Garp's reputation was made.
Word to word.
That doesn't change the way's that Smoker parallels Garp or that Smoker parallels him in the ways most people; and I guess you wish Koby would and see him paralleling Garp.
Literally nothing has changed in my perception of either character or their roles in the story since I've read Marineford.
And no one's "the next" Garp because a name isn't a title; that's not how paralleling/parallels work and that phrasing ruins all discussion of the topic before it evens begins.

I don't see Koby as the next Garp. Or Smoker for that matter. But it's kind of funny. The man that a lot of you guys wish Smoker was (Garp), is betting on Koby being the future of the Navy. Not Smoker.

Neither are ever going to get it, Sanji because he has his own unique power and has no need for it, Koby because of his personality.

The thing people forget is that CoC is something you're born with, not something you can just magically gain later, so Koby's introduction and character before he was trained by Garp directly proves he's not got it, he was literally Usopp 2.0 before Garp trained him, hardly a natural born leader or king.

I wouldn't be surprised if Usopp has it too tbh.

The underlying reason why people talk about Koby and Sanji is because of CoC and it's association.

1. Parent-children association

Luffy-Dragon, Yamato-Kaido, Ace-Roger, Katakuri-Big Mom, are some examples, but it's not relevant here.

2. Captain-member/Senior-Junior association

If CoC users have a leader, the leader is CoC user. Relevant for Sanji, but unknown for Koby

3. Teacher-Student association

Zoro-Mihawk, Luffy-Ray, this thing may lead to the "Garp has it, so Koby might too".

4. Rivals/Peers association

Chinjao-Garp, Garp-Roger, Roger-Whitebeard, Kaido-Big Mom, Shanks-Mihawk, are examples. Because of this, "Zoro has it, therefore Sanji will too" appears.

I stand by my position that I don’t want Sanji to have CoC. However, I can see him unlocking it at some point. I don’t know when an effective or impactful time for Sanji to unlock it. Depending on how the rest of Egghead goes, then Sanji unlocking it to help protect the SHs or defeat an opponent would be cool.

Oda seems to want Coby to be the Luffy of the marines. It’s just that Coby doesn’t have a devil fruit. The guy does have guts, so I can see him unlocking CoC. It’s just that I am not invested in him getting it or not getting it.

Did Ace and Sabo consider Luffy a crybaby at first? Most likely, Koby's always had it in him. He just needed a little push. In chapter 1080, he's beaten and in hand cuffs while being surrounded by an Emperor and his Commanders. He's not crying there. He's calling him delusional and a cowardly terrorist.

i think both will get coc but koby is more likely if he is garp of this gen even if he isn't garp of this gen with out df he need coc to become admiral
about sanji oda is taking more of science/tech theme for power
