Things Big Mom did with her fruit:

• Soul Pocus
• Incarnations that can autonomously Soul Pocus for her
• Innumerable Homies (almost everything in Whole Cake Island is Homies, including the hills, forests, and vast array of soldiers)
• Special Homies like Napoleon, Zeus, Prometheus, and Hera that are literally as strong as commanders by themselves and can collectively manipulate the weather
• Homies created out of other abilities (e.g., Perospero's candy monster that she used to create a tsunami or Cracker's Biscuit Soldiers that can autonomously patrol WCI through her power)
• Island-range elemental attacks that can even have homing qualities to counter enemy mobility
• Maser Cannon, Maser Saber, and Misery being new Homie combination attacks/forms that she pulled out of her ass on the spot after creating Hera, since Prometheus explicitly notes they couldn't have done those combinations with Zeus (and being able to create something as powerful as Hera on the spot [see: Fulgora as her testing move])
• Flight with very high overall mobility and multiple backup options
• Soul Buffs to augment herself with an undefined upper limit
• Literal healing from infusing souls into her body

Anyone saying she's not easily one of the most creative DF-users in the manga is illiterate.

The same Carmel that canonically created only a single Homie? And Big Mom wasn't even mentally present when it happened.

As far as the story tells us, you can't even claim that Big Mom knew Carmel ever had a Devil Fruit at all. Even the surrounding Giants attributed her creation of Pandora to a "miracle" instead of a DF ability.

There's zero reason to attribute any of the things Big Mom managed to do with the fruit to Carmel's use of it.

Could Lucci have made better use than he did out of his fruit? Could Kaido? Could Mr 1? Could King? What about Mr 3? Or Buggy? Miss Merry Christmas? Any of the admirals? Smoker? Dalton? Pell? Perona? There are definitely many more too.

None of the above fruits give hints of having untapped potential beyond what has been shown. Big Mom's Soul fruit meanwhile is just brimming with untapped potential.

She has elemental power, energy blasts, weather-manipulating abilities, can infuse souls into objects to create lifeforms and manipulate lifespan for boosts and healing. Get a fucking grip.

On the same day Kaku gained his DF, he pushed Zoro with techniques he came up with on the spot and was able to effectively blend his new abilities with Rokushiki and his swordsmanship. The fact that Kaku also awakened it so quickly shows how much of a prodigy he is.

Yep. The Soul Soul fruit is definitely a power with a whole lot of varied applications.

That has less than nothing to do with Big Mom in the context of this argument though. The OP's question was about who most fulfills the potential of their Devil Fruit. And that's the only thing I've been arguing.

Contrary to what you might believe, basic logic states that someone who has a devil fruit with a lot of potential, is typically further from fully fulfilling the potential of that devil fruit, than someone who has a devil fruit with very little potential.

And yet, does she use any of these things effectively in the story?

A hypothetical competent Big Mom, that even I often use in Vs debates, would use her powers very effectively, since she clearly has so many of them. But in the actual story, hardly anything would've been changed for her combat effectiveness if she were just some random giant meatball with a sword.

People constantly accuse her of being a jobber for a reason, you realize. In any given moment, she hardly ever thinks to use any real application of her Devil Fruit.

Now tell me, does that scream mastery? Does that give off the impression of fulfilled potential?
