Future Events Who is the next villain? Blackbeard or Akainu?

I am pretty sure that the Strawhats will go to New Marineford after Elbaf. To rescue Bartolomeo. But my impression is that most assume that they will go to Pirate Island to free Coby and Pudding or something. Makes no sense to me. Akainu's speech about driving all his enemies back into the sea introduced him as the next big bad guy, in my view. Blackbeard hasn't even got his final Devilfruit yet. He hasn't defeated Shanks yet. It isn't time for Luffy and him to fight.

Things are moving rapidly. Blackbeard is amassing devil fruits and road poneglyphs. After his confrontation with Law, he will have 3 RPs just like the straw hats. And he now has his poneglyph reader too. So the fight against Blackbeard pirates is imminent imo.

Marines and WG are Endgame villians. Personally I think that Blackbeard will be dealt with THEN we will get to laugh tale and the final world war with the Marines will start.

BB and Shanks are dictating the pace now
Before, it was Luffy, by getting achievement after achievement.
I dont see how Luffy and Akainu will clash and resolve their shared plotlines before the race to Lough Tale concludes.

What I like more: Akainu catching up to the race! And then he will fall later on, together with the old Navy and World government system.

I think both... both BB and Akainu will appear at the last fight. Akainu wants to destroy or hide people knowing about Laugh Tail (One Piece), BB wants to have OP. Luffy will meet them at the end of arc, the largest battle will happen and ODA said that too.

With portrayal it’s looking to be akainu but we also have akainu’s near equal be bb’s underling
So it can go either way
