The other 2 have more emotional values.
Not saying Goku is bad. But he is more of a plain saviour of the world and more flat on the value.

Goku actually trained Gohan so he could take over "his place" tho but then Buu saga happened.
Toriyama had the balls to make someone else instead of the MC strong enough to defeat the main villain of an arc.

Goku > Ichigo > Luffy

Goku is charismatic. Fight addicted. Very responsible(even with some controversial decisions).

Ichigo is not charismatic. He is not exactly fight addicted but he is always getting into fights. He is very responsible.

Luffy has FORCED charisma. He is not fight addicted and is only fighting when it is really necessary. Not responsible at all.

I only know goku from DBZ dub.

None of the 3 are worst but If I have to chose someone , then its post skip luffy. He feels less like a character and more like a plot machine.

Luffy, he is currently a saitama but without the funny nihilistc philosophy which makes opm so fun.

Luffy used to be funny pre ts, and his fights had real tension, but since ts and until egghed he was running on plot armor 24/7 to the point where oda got fed up of making fake tragic events and chose to make him à one punch man with completely cheated df


When i read one piece right now i feel more like reading opm as every character but the MC is scheming in his corner while the MC can solve all situation with a single blow.

Ichigo is relatable and the best MC alongside gintama.
