I bet on that person over Mihawk all day every day

no reason to assume this type of people (3 man ever as far as I know) should have the most fearsome power in high seas

but don't be strongest ... while we know 2/3 of those people were on the top of their own era

maybe Oda don't love the 3rd person ... that's why he made that 3rd person BASE ON HIMSELF ... he needed to hate himself a lot then I guess

Well maybe because these people who think those characters are stronger than mihawk think the said characters have other abilities that can allow them to beat mihawk.

Not saying I agree but the thread seems to be claiming that there is a consensus about mihawk not being the WSS. I haven't read that here, that's all I'm saying.

You mean like Kaku who is martial artist and a devil fruit user and a swordsman? When did that start mattering to Oda? Kaku by his own words is the strongest swordsman in CP-9. And Then Zoro beat him. So Zoro beat the strongest swordsman in CP-9 who had all the powers in the verse.

So none of that matters. Everyone I just listed is swordsman according to this story and so Zoro will have to be THE STRONGEST OF ALL

The thing is your understanding of the story is not universal. Everything is debatable.
I'm not trying to debate whether someone is a swordsman or not, I'm just saying some people think that other abilities matter and shouldn't count as swordsmanship.
And even these people agree to say that mihawk is indeed the WSS.

Aye, they use swords. But they also use other abilities. Which is why I think Mihawk, Zoro and Shanks are amazing - they don't have any devil fruit. Which might suggest that we should compare swordsmen without abilities as Fuji can easily do the gravity thingy on them or Law can swap their swords.

Ask the people who thinks shanks isn't a swordsman.
I guess, but it's just a guess that for those people oda categorized them as swordsman because it's their main style which doesn't mean they can't use anything else.

If kaku defeated zoro with a finger gun after all his attacks with a sword failed, would he be a stronger swordsman?
If big mom gets a sword broken by mihawk and then defeats him with Prometheus, would she be a better swordsman?

Again I'm not giving my opinion, just trying to stay open minded about other opinions.
