Exactly second Strongest Subordinate.
Imu being the final one , I still don't see that being a proper 1v1 , multiple people would be involved.
That leaves us with Gorosei , Luffy fights one , Zoro fights one , Law is ofc coming back , Sabo will play a major role to or dragon.
What correlation does Imu potentially being a group fight have to do with Sanji fighting a Gorosei?
Luffy fighting a Gorosei and then fighting the final antagonist together with other characters is a myth. One would think y'all would've learnt your lesson from the whole ZKK debacle on Wano. One Piece is the Luffy show, earlier you recognize that the less Ls you'll get. That said however, Luffy fighting a Gorosei and then moving on to bigger and better tings is a possibility as him fighting a subordinate and then moving on tot he main antagonist has happened before. In which case, it again has no bearing on Sanji fighting against a gorosei. There's enough to go around for Sanji to get a bite of the pie. Also this notion that every other strong character will get priority over Sanji in the ultimate fight of the series with Luffy at the forefront is also a myth and really does show a lack of understanding of the narrative. Sanji is referred to as one of the wings of the Pirate King and in main battles he usually fights the second strongest character under the main antagonist but I digress.
But the next strongest faction which is Holyknights is where I can see some Fights for Sanji.
Frankly speaking Sanji isn't connected to any of the Gorosei anyhow.
And with his current showing of strength , Gorosei feels like a dream.
I don't know what next power sanji is gonna hold but it needs to be massive to cover the gap from Queen to Gorosei.
Sigh...
Can't believe we are still doing this post Wano

It's fine to want to shit on Sanji, that is your prerogative but arguments like this are tiring lol
Find something that can actually stick instead of regurgitating the same old tired arguments that have not chance in hell of happening.
If I had a dollar for all the times I heard Sanji was to weak to fight a calamity and would either tag team or fight a Tobi Roppo prior to Wano, I'd be a millionaire already. Connection bit is whatever btw, Zoro had no connection with King prior to Wano and still fought him. It's a moot argument.
