Candidates imo:
Katakuri would logically take over Big Mom's crew and territories if she's dead and he isn't far behind Kidd and Law in terms of individual power if at all, he's the second best choice behind Luffy
Kidd and Law would be terrible choices imo, individually they're not really that close to Yonko level at all, their crews are complete ass and they control no territories
Hancock is decently strong, her crew is probably just as bad as Kidd and Law's but at the very least they can all use haki and unlike Kidd and Law she does control territory
Buggy being a Yonko would be pretty ridiculous but ever since Oda made him a Shichibukai it's been possible

katakuri cannot be an emperor. He has done literally nothing, the man is so irrelevant that Morgans didn't even mention his name in the news article he wrote. Merely because he is the de-facto captain of the BMP now doesn't make him an emperor. Or else Marco would have been considered an emperor.
"emperor" isn't an official title. The WG doesn't bestow the title of emperor onto powerful people. Its just something that is agreed upon for powerful pirates.
Morgans bestowed the title of 5th emperor upon Luffy for his exploits in WCI. Given this, there's a decent chance he will proclaim Kid and Law emperors as well, as their feats surpass Luffy's in WCI.

Morgan's doesn't decide who the 5th Emperor is, he can call someone the 100th Emperor but it doesn't make it true
Nobody of note recognized Luffy being the 5th Emperor and Oda himself continued to use Yonko so evidently he didn't accept it as official either.

All they have is oven, kata, cracker, and snack+ their army of fodder. Their strongest man, kata, is the weakest YC1. They're fucked.
The only difference is that people will recognize Luffy as an emperor. But the WG isn't going to designate him as one or something.

Can’t wait for the reveal, it’s been blatantly obvious since SA, Law/Kid would be emperors of the sea. Dumbass then an now are still to stupid, to understand this very simple logic.
Kata has a 40+ year pirate career why tf would anybody make him a Yonko suddenly??? In 2 years Law been a warlord/ help taken down a warlord/ became wanted by the admirals/ gain a billion berry+/ an defeated a Yonko.

Kid or Law could 1 shot a majority of strong fighters in the BMP. The BMP simply can't survive without Big Mom, this isn't even my opinion, it was outright stated back in WCI.
Forget Kid or Law, how are these people going to defend themselves from blackbeard or the admirals? Their empire is going to crumble. Kid and Law will probably steal some lands, so will Teach, so will shanks, and so will the marines, and they can't do anything about it without linlin.

That isn't how fights work and you know it, Law has no 1v1 feats but somehow he's winning a 1v20 or 30 when several of those people can give him a good fight individually
