This is actually one of the ideas that i had is that Akainu and Luffy will 2 v 1 against IMU in the final war, but before that I think Imu will first fight against Dragon and Garp 2 v 1 and defeat them killing Garp in the process but I don't think Dragon dies in the final war as I think he will have a political future in the epilogue with Sabo becoming an Admiral along with Koby and Smoker

Only Sabo vs Akainu would be a decisive fight, until someone loses.
In my opinion of course. I don't see the point of defeating the Admirals unlike there is a point for defeating other pirates crew in their path to the One Piece.
Unless Navy gathers all its force in the path to LaughTale trying to impede the SHs from reaching it which is quite unlikely.
At most I see SHs (Zoro and Sanji) clashing with Admirals (skirmishes) while the rest help with WG destruction let's say, assuming that Imu is actually strong.

Sanji vs Kizaru (Both kickers who rely on speed, Sanji has strong observation Haki) this is the obvious one
Zoro vs Fujitora (Zoro always tends to fight honorable battles and genereally has respect for his opponent and otherwise, Fujitora fits in this regard 100%. They also foreshadowed their fight in Dressrosa and Stampede. People get too caught up with Greenbulls sword, Kizaru also uses a sword, Queen also had a sword, doesn't mean much.
Yamato vs Greenbull ( They will start beefing next chapter once Greenbull crashes the party, Ice usually is also a good counter against plants Pokemon FTW)
