General & Others Who will fight King?

Everyone but Marco.

I don't believe in the Marco vs King fight.

Oda usually writes fights where the good guy is a bit of an underdog and has to overcome the situation to win. Here Marco is almost unanimously viewed as stronger than King or at least it won't surprise anyone that Marco will win.

Except if it is said that Marco grew weaker since Teach fight or if King is said to have beaten Marco in the past I don't see this fight happening.

Oda needs to hype King and against Marco it will be a problem.

Marco sounds like a good fit. I think Yamato might too, but I can also see her providing some help against Kaido, however we already have Zoro/Luffy/Kidd to join that fight for the moment, or at least the former two, so let's see who is likely to tag along as well.

Maybe Yamato....King is very much focused on killing the Momo and Yamato is the one who is protecting Momo.....so add Yamato on the list....

Linlin already knows Marco can hurt Promotheus... she will now play physical and we know Marco cant dodge her easily. Zeus will thunder him...game over.
Prometheus once it grows bigger, Marco has no chance unless he can spam AoE like Entei to counter

Big mom either needs to leave somewhere else or be fought/stalled
And if luffy cant do it because hes dealing with kaido marco is pretty much the next best option. And even then hell probably get help too

I don't think BM is leaving.

Act 3 ends with Law saving those 2.

Yamato or Marco. People are sleeping on Yamato but she is protecting Momo and King has been yapping about killing Momo every time he's shown to talk in his few panels appearances.

Marco. He said he didn't want to go after Kaido and that he would bring Zoro on the roof.
Only obstacle left is King, he will stop there and keep King busy so that Zoro can climb the last floor by himself.

Another reason why I'm leaning more on Yamato rather than Marco is that she is clearly being built to be an important character going forward (will probably join the SH crew) which in turn will make her a main character.

Marco is sadly just a side character and his role in this arc is to help spur the next generation and witness them rise(Oda had him say it too) which means Oda wouldn't let a major antagonist in an arc(yes despite being mostly a background character so far, King is expected to still play an integral role as part of this arc antagonists and he's one of the strongest one) be dealt with by a side character.

Yamato's relevance compared to Marco, especially going forward and her strength too(she's portrayed as a strong fighter) lead me to believe that her clash with King is imminent.

These are not main characters. They do not get a full fight against main enemies

Whoever fights King will have to start the battle being at least stronger than Katakuri to not get flung out of the battlefield immediately. Then throughout the battle that said person will most likely evolve and be able to beat King.

All the big shots will reach the roof.

Marco needs to take Zoro there.
King and Queen will also go there to try to contain them.
Jack is there too.
Kid and Law on their way
Sanji and JInbe have also shown interest in reaching the roof to help Luffy (and this chapter solidified that Robin and Brook are going to go up the castle floors, and they will probably be opponents of Black Maria and Who's Who)

So, we will probably have ZSJ vs KQJ rooftop
