oda is funny guy he hinted usopp CoC twice only for him to say in the sbs he wants usopp to be weak. Look at Shanks and BB snipers

It should be Usopp in a moment that affirms him as a brave warrior of the sea and hero to Elbaf.

Usopp has done jack shit so far though.

I will say though that Super Sommers is an opponent who could feasibly create a situation where it would make sense for Sanji to get CoC. But that really depends on how much focus Sanji will get this arc, he’s barely done any more than Usopp and there’s nothing specifically suggesting that he would have a big role in the arc.

It can work. Really Super Sommers powers can work against any of the Strawhats, because they all have loved ones (each other, mostly).

But Oda is specifically tying Sanji to the idea of love, while Usopp is about bravery. I think Usopp would need to unlock CoC in a moment where he shows supreme bravery.

Again, can easily happen against Super Sommers, if somehow all the crew bar Usopp are in danger and he needs to brave the thorns for his loved ones, but I think it’s more likely that it would be Super Sommers for Sanji and something else like Killingham’s nightmares for Usopp.

I’m not seeing it that sommer could create a situation where it would make sense for the opponent to awaken CoC.

but killingham I can see it
To overcome your fear you need CoC
