Speculations Who's Who was a slave

#1
In recent chapter, we learned that WW was one's very interested in Sun God Nika, who was supposedly be able to free all slaves. If WW was only a prisoner he would not be so obsessed with that idea. He is not the only strong character who was turned into a slave - Fisher Tiger and Kuma are good example of that. Other thing that could be adding to this theory is his eye tattoo. It could look like Dragon's Hoof.

Hmm what we know is that he prayed Nika under suggestion of a guard who let him escape subsequently, so it might be that he became grateful at least either way. Quite peculiar of him to join a group of Pirates who enslaved other beings however, the only logical explanation I can find is that perhaps is aim was similar to infiltrate to gain information on what that was about and try to climb positions to one day change something. This sounds optimistic however.

Honestly, you might be onto something here. We know Who's Who wasn't imprisoned in Impel Down, because prior to Luffy's invasion, only Shiki ever escaped from there.

Considering WsW was a former Cipher Pol agent, he might have been imprisoned in Mariejois. We did see that when Kuma defied the World Government, his punishment was enacted on Mariejois, so that might be the normal for Government officials who fuck up.

Plus, "Nika the Sun God" seems to be connected to the void century somehow. So it makes sense that a Prison official from Mariejois would know a few things about it.

Well, not exactly, because Morley escaped as well. And considering the "demoned away" thing that turned out to be the people from Level 5.5, there might've been other escapees that the guards brushed off as such. Considering the breakout two years ago, I would rather argue that Who's Who wouldn't have much of a grudge towards Luffy if he were the one responsible to get him out of Impel Down? Plus everyone came to Marineford, and there he would've been exposed to many people who should know what he looks like.

So if Oda doesn't want to entangle himself in a net of plotholes, Who's Who definitely can't have been in Impel Down at the same time as Jinbe, meaning he saw him in another prison. But Mariejois would mean that Jinbe was there as well, which we know nothing about. And there is only a tiny gap in the timeline where Jinbe could have been a slave in Mariejois - Who's Who was imprisoned 12 years ago, Jinbe became a Warlord 11 years ago.
But now that I think about it, the gathering of the Warlords before the war was in Mariejois, so it might've been because of something like this that Jinbe was there... this is a lot to think about. :yasu:

his character is not well written lmao, dont like being a slave but work with the pirates who promotes slavery. carrying around a long scabbard but its actually a dagger but then fought like a brawler. have a grudge towards Shanks, then hates Luffy, then blame it all towards Jinbe. want to kill Queen but then join a hand with him to beat XDrake. mocking Jinbe then ask him why he's mad :catcry:
Oda really need a break :pepapoo:

bro i think thats very obvious
