THE MARINES ARE/IS A BUSINESS!
Okay, I’m done, the marines are a business, the admirals don’t need to go all out, they do what they have to, and they hardly have to cause their own might they use is as much as they need.
They have morals yes, they have their own justices but most of the time they just do their job, take Kizaru for example, HE DIDNT HAVE TO WIN OR EVEN DEFEAT LUFFY, he just had to kill vegapunk and some other objectives, so Kizaru used only the power he needed to kill vegapunk. Aokiji even, he didn’t have to really get an astonishing win against him, only capture him. The marines are the opposite of pirates, pirates do whatever, marines do stuff cause they have to. Yes, some marines get out of control, like for example akainu in marineford. But akainu locked in and left when his job was done. Hell, even at O’Hara akainu needed to make sure the people with bad information didn’t get away since he got ordered to by his boss. At marineford also, the marines’ goal was to execute ace and stop people from interfering, it wasn’t their fault that there was a war, it was whitebeard’s fault, so they needed to stop whitebeard to make sure the execution went on well!
