Ever since Lili was introduce in chapter 1085, most fans have even baselessly assuming that that Joyboy stole Lili from Imu or that their fight had to be some sort of love triangle or something. However if you read the chapter it implies the direct opposite. Imu assumed up until Cobra told him about the D. that Lili was on his side. He refers to Lili’s scattering of the Poneglyphs as a mistake and since we known that Lili survived long enough to reject living in the Holy Land (this only happened after they won the War) we can also assume that Lili was on Imu’s side (As far as Imu knew) throughout the entire war and after Joyboy died. We also know from Vegapunk that the void century was some sort of ideological clash and wasn’t (primarily atleast) centered around pussy.
