Questions & Mysteries Why are you desperate for Law to die?

#3
- for some people, BB needs some big feat and Law is currently in the closest proximity to BB
- for some people, Law is too strong and hax and handsome for a non-main characters and threaten the masculinity of Zoro and Sanji
- some people need something as powerful and versatile Ope2 hax to be Luffy's serious real enemy and Law obviously wont backstab Luffy and SHs

I can think of those 3 possibilities

I don't think that everyone who wants it hates Law.
Some people want good drama and for them the death of Law is it.
This can actually be seen as a compliment to the character because you are unlikely to be sad about the death of someone you don't like.

Teach defeating Law and taking Road Poneglyphs is too predictable and simple, and Law escaping or defeating Commanders with no loss on his end makes this whole Scenario pointless

So imo Law is neither gonna die nor Easily Escape, someone is gonna interfer

It's one of these:

01. Red-Hair Pirates
02. Cross Guild
03. Weevil
04. Urouge
05. Fujitora
06. Moria
07. 10th Titanic Captain
08. Another Attack by Imu
09. Sabo
10. New Character/Group

I can see this being the case

But this part....nah that's a bit much. I mean, we both know who u are referring to lmao
i wasnt being specific
but if you feel like I was
maybe you just see a particular fandom doing it lmao .

law is not someone any of the strawhats look up to
he is a worst gen member with a lot of potential growing at the same rate the strawhats do with a huge goal
Up against Blackbeard ,he is the underdog so he hardly serves as a hype tick
people like rayleigh ,shanks ,dragon who have reached their primes fit that bill a lot more.
Law dying serves almost no purpose ( doesnt even seem like BB wants his fruit but the poneglyphs so I really dont want to hear about the immortal surgery argument).

And BB not killing him after attacking him serves no purposes either. Therefore this fight is just a cheap way to hype the readers.

Now what Oda could do, to make this meeting meaningful without Law dying or BB taking an L, is to make Bb capture Law and use Law to lure Luffy or used Law like he used Ace as a bargaining chip with another organization.

I forgot BB killed marco after defeating him
silly me

being captured would be similar to coby's situation tbh , really just puts him in frame to fight with them against the BB pirates.

BB beating Marco allows him to take the full control of WB’s territory and be seems as a full fledge Yonko.
So he gain influence from that.
So the fight was meaningful for BB character even tho he did not take Marco’s fruit ( which is still a nonsense character wise).

What BB can gain from fighting Law except for his fruit? He can get the RP by going after Luffy or Kidd
And beating Law will not give him more relevance.

If the fight with Law does not allows BB to get something useful to accomplish his objectives that he can only get by fighting Law, the meeting is not meaningful.

So what do you think will happen?

Law's death has been a thing since the revelation of his fruit's true power. I, for one, don't think Law's ever dying or performing the surgery on anyone. Oda's going to use this information to introduce an immortal character into the story IMO—possibly Im. With that being said, it's perfectly reasonable to assume Law may die at one point in the story given how desirable immortality is. As a historian with profound knowledge of DFs, BB should be among the few people who know Law could do it. So there is a strong possibility that he'd force Law to perform the surgery on him unless someone intervenes and saves Law, which is more likely to happen.

This has nothing to do with Law stealing the spotlight from Zoro lmao. Law is a very good character and a fan favorite but Zoro is the main character whose importance is next to only Luffy. Anyone with a working brain already knows Zoro has a higher ceiling than Law. So he's never meant to be a threat to Zoro.

It's not nonsense. BB asked Ace to join him and avoided killing him even though killing Ace would've made him a Shichibukai. It's safe to assume, he still respects his former crew to a degree—at least the people who grew up with him. He only killed Tatch and WB because he has no other choice to gain power.
