Usually people can't hate Shanks because he helps their agenda.
For example Teachtards need to say Mihawk is shit and then accept Shanks being above Teach because otherwise we would have Mihawk, Shanks and Vista above Teach.
Admirals also have to wank Shanks because of how he stopped the war and made GB shit his pants.
Another fandom that wanks Shanks is Luffy haters because they don't believe Luffy already surpassed Shanks and Kaido while they can't accept Zoro's goal is higher than Luffy(Shanks).
