Yes, as we have seen, a morally broken admiral, aimed not at fighting, but at fulfilling the messiah, stands at least on an equal footing with the g5 (even with a slight dominance). But the difference in strength is not that high (sweat rendered) to treat the new yonko so disdainfully. Most likely, Kizaru did not show everything he could, which is why he was so confident in himself.

You can tell Luffy lives rent free in the heads of users like Artem, Nik, Gui and HA when every other thread they make is to somehow try downplay Luffy by using his fights against top tiers yet when Zoro is downplayed in his fights against fodder they cry like babies.

A 0,25% trying, exhausted, playful, lazy, non-challant, out-of-bed, hung-over, emotionally distant, restricted Kizaru basically unironically took on a 134.7% fully powered up Luffy in god mode.
