The fight between "[...] that person and that person [...]" is actually not that random anymore as it seems:

We know that Oda is hyping it, so it must be a part of something huge in the main story line. In December 2022, he announced it for the year 2023, only for him to write in his festa-letter from December 2023 that it will happen in 2024 (Because he took that many breaks and could not release it in 2023) . So, this means that:
1. we haven't seen it, yet
2. we will see it in the next few chapters, which were first scheduled for 2023.

And now it gets interesting:
For the fight between those two persons, being shown to us within the next few chapters, it means that it will most probably happen with the climax of the Egghead arc. Oda mentions that it will be surprising. This is important, because for it being surprising to us, there must be at least one participant of it, we do not think would go against the second participant. This means that we will get one defector of the WG, fighting against someone from the WG. And this happening is even underlined by Oda making Kizaru have those regrets in going against his friends as this is part of his mission. But, as we have seen Kizaru having these regrets, some of the readers are actually thingking that he will defect - if Oda was to draw Kizaru defecting from the WG, it would not be surprising for many of us anymore. And this fight needs to be surprising. Additionally, Kizaru is too strong to defect and seemingly Luffy's opponent here. But someone weaker than Kizaru, we would not ever think would defct the WG could do it. And here there is only one option here: Lucci

Lucci had much focus throughout the arc. But Oda did not really pick up on the after the time-skip again. And now remember that we still are missing so much of the Egghead arc or things that were strange, because Oda is still hiding a huge part of the arc from us:
- Lucci had second thought in chapter 1062, as he was hearing their mission for the first time - he was not really keen on going against Vegapunk
- the time skip (in which Lucci probably worked well together with Luffy and the SHPs/is seen having second thought about his mission)
- Lucci and Zoro's fight, Oda is not even focussing on for a very strange reason (It is a show fight for the WG to think Lucci is still on their side; this is why Zoro is not wearing a bandana and Nami telling us that Jinbe went to get Zoro safely back and not to help him fight Lucci)
- Sanji not even reacting to Stussy being hurt by Lucci (He only does this, when the woman, who is hurt by an ally, is an enemy - and Stussy is still a spy of the WG, only pretending to be on Vegapunk's side.)
- the WG took Lucci and the CP9 agents back into their ranks

So, the fight between "[...] that person and that person [...]" will be between Kizaru adn Lucci

And as a resultof it, we will have a plot-twist.

After Elbaf, there will be a New Marineford war. Akainu will threaten to publicly execute Bartolomeo and Law. Oda wanted to introduce Vice Admirals that were not at Marineford, but will be at New Marineford soon, so it doesn't feel like they appeared out of nowhere.

After Triple Chin used Steam Knuckle to one shot a sea beast, I thought we would see the VAs in action on Egghead.

All they did was chase Sanji around a bit, two of them got one shot by Kuma, and now they’ve left.

What was Oda cooking ????
How about you let Oda finish cooking and stop being rude. This dish takes years of cooking expertise.
