General & Others Why did Oda ruin Ace's design?

I don't about you guys but I kinda liked the new Ace's design better to be honest

At that point he was still Ace the yonko commander of nazi WB. Then it all become way more child friendly when WB had to renounce to the svastica on his flag and Ace to his old, ss?, looks.

He is always nice looking.
It's not a design change tho- it's animation and drawing improvement.

Right!!
I like both designs. Oda changed the drawing over the years, without losing its characteristic style. Many characters including Ace changed their faces. Arabasta's design was a little more original, it differentiated Ace more from character designs like Zoro or Sanji, but I like the design that he had later. And it is true that in MF he looked younger.
