I do not get the debate on his laugh honestly.

I always thought his laughing was finding out: "shit, I traveled across the world and set foot where nobody else did in god knows how long only to be told "nah, you to early/don't have he right devil fruit" and instead of being angry or crying Roger just laughed at this.
