You and your pals go exploring the town, thinking that the treasure in the abandoned house at the end of the road is all there is to it, and you'd be more than content with it if so was, but once you open the chest you learn that the world has ended twice already and will end a third time because of two demon-gods battling each other through the ages, and you, for whom the town was as big as the world, can do nothing about it. People who say Roger pirates laughed because they realized they were fucked or something are coping hard. No, the Roger pirates did not all come to that conclusion at the same time, and Roger said he wanted to live in Joyboys time. Rayleigh later calls finding out the void century fun for the kids. None of the former Roger pirates ever spend any time worrying about the genius god Incel
