Speculations Why didn’t the Gorosei just kill Emeth 200 years ago?

Emeth beam laser still functioning back then.
But now he cant shot pew pew beam again, so yeah he become vulnerable. Andmaybe gorosei not mastered their df ability yet, thanks to their old age they can mastered it now.

We could see that what brought Emeth back to life was Luffy's unique heartbeat. We also saw that he wasn't sure if now was the right time for him to act.
We know that 200 years ago, he climbed to Marie Geoise, started fighting and then just stopped all of a sudden.
I think that 200 years ago, someone with Luffy's fruit reached gear 5, began to attack the gorosei, so Emeth followed, and then they killed that fruit user, so Emeth was immobilized again. After taking care of the real threat, the gorosei didn't care much for Emeth, they gave it to their scientists to dismantle, believing they had obeyed. Also back then, Emeth did not carry a transponder snail on him, transmitting all of the government's secrets to the world, so they didn't consider him as big a threat as now.

That would make the Goroseis reaction to Luffys first awakening against Kaido even more nonsensical, tho not much would surprise me at this point, certainly not further retcons.

Odds are, his body was in better quality back then and he didn't give the World Gov. any openings.
His power ran out as well ,probably Elders didn‘t needed to act in the end.
Brings up the question why didn‘t they make sure to dispose of it right then and there ?

Also it seems like they tried to get it as far away from Mary Joa as possible, why don‘t hide it in some chamber like the Giant Strawhat.

Do you all not know what a retcon is? Oda will eventually explain what happened with Emeth in marijoa. Creating headcanon and then calling it a shit show based on stuff you made up is insane
Cmmmmoooooon use your brain!!!
We saw how Gorosei destroyed half of ancient giant, then why 200 years ago Gorosei didn't destroy this ancient giant????
