As poison wasn't included or mentioned as a weakness for King, he can literally fly to Impel Down and release Ace, all of this with his flames ablaze and without suffering a scratch. The only thing he needs to worry about is being immobilized, which will be difficult for a man with flames at the same temperature as magma, meaning it will melt anything.

So, in this scenario, King is more efficient than Marco.
