He realized his side was getting washed so Marco pulled them back and retreated before he BB could take it/kill all his comrades
Also you seemingly would have to kill someone and take their DF from their corpse and the Phoenix fruit makes makes nearly unkillable. Yes BB's df negates DF powers but he'd have to grab hold, never let go and tee off to the point where marco dies from it. Marcos not a scrub he likely just wouldnt or didnt let that happen lol
