Sanji wanted to save his family. But he could just bail out Judge and his family by escaping during midnight. If they were not convinced about the conspiracy, reiju could vouch for sanji too. Escaping during midnight was definitely safer since big mom was sleeping and presumably so were the other executives. Even if BM pirates got alerted, the SHP and vinsmoke would already have the lead. Mother portrait wouldn't be damaged, so linlin's chase might also be less aggresive.

The problems would be if reiju was being stubborn to not help her family or the vinsmokes just could not be convinced. But then again, nothing wrong with trying. I feel like this is something that a strategist should at least consider.

Also Zeff & Baratie were held Hostage so Sanji must attend the Wedding to make sure they aren't Killed
Not to mention that they cannot escape that easily & even if they tried, that means they wouldn't make an Alliance with Capone
So he would have Stopped them & told BMP everything since he is tasked with Security

They had no choice but to attend the Wedding & Ally with Capone
This way, they make sure Capone doesn't stop them, Vinsmokes see for themselves BM's treachery & BM gets Killed so they escape safely & defeat a Yonko

Sanji could ask for reiju to vouch for him. Sanji also could insist to reiju that he won't leave WCI until she told the truth to the vinsmokes

Reiju doesn't account for Judge. Reiju believing won't change a thing. Ultimately it is judge who has to believe.

Never said reiju was the decision maker. Just that with reiju vouching, it actually can be used to convince judge.
And I don't say judge would definitely be convinced either. As i said though, nothing wrong to try. Should at least try to convince the vinsmokers rather than just jumping to the wedding plan

Sanji told Reiju and she was willing to die with her family believing this would be good for Sanji and the rest of the world.
Sanji didn't not wanted that. But no one would believe him, probably even Reiju would go against him if he try to warn Judge.
Also if Sanji just escaped they would sent people to kill Zeff at East Blue.


That goes for Sanji only. But then we have Luffy and Bege team up to kill BM. Bege had a good plan(Oda terrible writing make it sound dumb after it failed) and Luffy was smart to take this opportunity of taking her down.
