Current Events Why do people hate Bonney’s Nika form so much?

If she is just imitating Nika, that would be fine.

But if she can literally use toon force and whatnot, then imo it would cheapen what Luffy went through to get G5.

Imo Bonney’s G5 should just max her physical abilities and her age powers. She said she’s going to a future where she’s the most free. Her most free state shouldn’t be the same as Luffy’s, since they have different fruits.

Luffy didn’t do shit to get G5???

If Luffy Nika defeats Kaguya Imu by stunning her with a "how do you poop?" question and making Imu literally crap her pantaloons in fear as Nika punches her lights out while laughing, people will call it a brilliant final fight because it was 'foreshadowed' by all those times Luffy asked weird randos how they pooped.

Personally, I love Nika. The comical Bugs Bunny stfu energy is just perfect for narcissus villains

Bonney being a Nika never surprised me. Every Bugs needs a Lola. Frankly, I'm shocked/relieved it wasn't Nami

I really don’t get it. Oda clearly foreshadowed this happening earlier in the arc

• Nika is a highly anticlimactic power in it's every aspect. Luffy spinny-punches a guy in the face & his face is cartoonily smushed-in. Luffy self-revives to speed up the story. It's not like Gear 2, where Luffy was really fighting to the death. Or like Gear 4, where everyone had to fend off against a gassed Doflamingo to save Luffy. It's just stupid.
• Bonney is still a mid side-character & hasn't done anything really amazing at all. This is the most memorable thing she's done on all of Egghead.
• Bonney's power's aren't smartly written either. She get's to age people up or down, ok. Oh, but now she can give herself cost-free 'futures' because she's such a Nika stan.
• It throws away the characterization of the villains, strangles the life & cool out of them. The Gorosei looks more like the bid. Even Foxy was an actual threat, these guys just seem stupid.
