This entire arc the fanbase has been praying for their daddy kaido to win everytime. From the first time kaido one shot luffy, "ErMaHgErD BaByShAkE!!!, tHis Is tHe pOwEr oF A yoNkO HuE HuE!!!" Everyone celebrates again once kaido beats luffy on the rooftop..."IF iTs A 1v1 bEt On KAiDo HuE HuE!!!", and then celebrate again once blue scarf sneaks luffy so kaido can win again. But when luffy goes gear 5 and starts winning..."AsSpUlL AnD PlOtArMoUrS". And now that luffys about to win the fight yall dont want it to end and ready to call it trash lmfao. It is that people have something against luffy? Is it because people realise that luffy becoming this strong means the series may end sooner than people think? Or maybe its because people are just downright obsessed with yonkos, because the majority of people wanted big mom to beat kid and law too, and are still salty about it to this day. And then there's the whole bunch of wierdos that pray for the raid to fail, even this late in to the arc.
Questions & Mysteries Why do people keep cheering for Kaido?

- the fight gets boring since its dragging and repetitive but without proper focus and without moving the plot forward, but instead blatant recycles the previous rounds without any clear depiction on the structure of Luffy vs Kaidou power play.
- A cycle of powerups that Luffy received doesnt actually even matter in winning the rounds of the fight or gaining an upper hand from Kaidou in certain aspects, when it should be.
- A cycle of loss that Luffy received doesnt actually matter since this cycle doesnt develop Luffy's perspectives or problem-solving capabilities regarding the way he fights, when it actually should act as not only power progression, but also character development.
- Kaidou especially is proportionally lacking of innovative ways in fighting techniques, compared to the length of the fight itself. Adding the dragging and monotonous vibe.

- Because when Luffy is unreasonably strong, its plot armor. But when Kaidou is unreasonably strong, "its not plot armor and Kaidou just built different". There is double standard.
- And also because Luffy and Kaidou are now both immeasurably stronger than their favorite, whoever it is, then Luffy vs Kaidou is garbage.

It's not even about the Raid failing Morj enthusiast but about the overall plot and continuity. Oda completely shits on everything he set up.

the other double standard is the people that hate on luffy getting powerups will happily eat up any powerup that kaido or big mom get. Saw no one complain about big mom suddenly being able to heal her bones + make herself bigger. And now people are praying to dear god that kaido has an awakening. Kaido could get 10 powerups and people would love it

If we are in sky island arc today , most people say Enel neg diff crocodile like fodder. Enel has his final form similar to kaido only to get defeated by luffy punch .
Same luffy need gear 2 and gear 3 to defeat rob lucci .
Does EL luffy arc need gear 2 and 3 to defeat Enel if people think Enel > rob lucci ?
Only things I have problem is advanced coc from luffy and luffy awaking his fruit . No training need for luffy.

King is shinning example of powercreep because he is more durable than kaido cause zoro cut kaido just fine but still have hard to cut king and need power up to defeat him.
Group battle argument dont work if someone overpowered luffy punch like katakuri overpowered luffy punch.
It prove katakuri > doflimingo even doflimingo face group battle while katakuri have 1 vs 1 battle.
