Break Week Why do people think Law has less plot armor than the straw hats?

When BB vs Law came out I saw people saying they prefer chapters without straw hats bc side characters have less plot armor and you don't know what the outcome for them will be, but why use Law to make this case?

Against Kaido, Luffy was knocked out by Kaido, Zoro had almost all his bones broken meanwhie Law faced no consequences in fact he went on to fight Big Mom right after without rest.

In Wano, Oda showed Usopp get his skull broken in half two times, he showed Sanji's limp body, meanwhile he offcreened Big Mom wailing on Law, did we even see Big Mom injure Law once during their fight, Big Mom used advanced conquerors haki on page one but not on Law?

So where did this idea that Law has less plot armor than the straw hats come from?

I wish that was true, Usopp would be able to use ibs haki by now just like Coby and the straw hats wouldn't need to rely on side characters to save them every arc

Not really, Law is basically a second main character now, plus BB didn't kill Hancock or Coby why would that line be crossed for Law a character Oda loves?

Since he's a character that supposedly doesn't belong in the main cast, people think his chances of losing in a fight are higher. Anyway Law and Kidd vs Big Mom has as much plot armor as Luffy vs Katakuri or Nami vs Kalifa

Oh, Law is plot armoured as hell. As much as any Strawhat.

Like the time Doflamingo explicitly aimed to kill him from point blank range, somehow missed all his vitals, and Law managed to switch himself with some random body without Doflamingo noticing. All while Doffy was firing shots into him like a madman.

Or when Big Mom had him and Kid lying dead on the ground and just walked away leaving her back exposed.

Or when Law pulled the ability to silence Big Mom entirely out of his ass.

SHs obviously gets more plot armor than Law. Law rn is also facing BB - someone who has more plot armor against anyone (until he fights Luffy).

If they did, they'd grow at the same rate as Law. Law went from getting trampled by Doflamingo a warlord to figthing toe to toe with a yonko in less than a month, if the straw hats had that type of plot armor, Zoro would be a yonko right now instead of a first commander

When Doflamingo took Gamma Knife just so Luffy could get the final hit, and Law instead of removing his heart opted for a counter shock. After Oda spent the entire arc putting him in unfavourable situations, even against an Admiral in a 2v1.

When Oda actively nerfs his fruit every breathing minute he's on panel.

Nerf his fruit? He gave him awakening but not Kaido, he gave him unlimited energy, and the ability to counter devil fruits, Oda loves Law stop pretending otherwise
