Alot of people act as if Yamato is a threat to Kaido and is legit holding his own.

Plus characters grow in strength over the arcs so Yamato will get stronger and if Devon is their fight it will mean they are as strong as Yamato assuming they join the crew

Well I guess the classic appalling takers. Yamato should not push Kaido past low difficulty in a normal fight with them both at 100%.

He's the only level 6 prisoner beside Shiryu to make his debut without a prisoner's uniform, and the one who withstood Sengoku's shockwave the best along with Shiryu after Teach (by not getting knocked back like Vasco, Shiryu and Avalo were grouped together) and also is the one that revealed his ambition to become a leader, having the guts to directly ask Teach to replace him as a captain.

Occupying the fourth ship could even be a parallel to Sanji being the fourth Strawhat to join. And then you have them North Blue connections.

Sanji is fighting top guys to BB, so that mean Shiryu is the one as he is command of the Second Ship while Zoro vs Burgess given he is command of the First Ship.

Idk why everyone think he won't fight top guys to BB crew when it's established he is Strawhat top guys with Zoro.

Not sure if it's actually a popular theory but i remember Mr. Morj making a SH vs BB matchup prediction videos where he said that all the straw hats in Jaya would be matched with all the BB pirates in Jaya, with the exception of Robin since she wasn't quite part of the crew yet and Zoro since Shiryu got his own special introduction later.

So in his mind it would be:
Luffy vs Teach
Nami vs Laffite
Usopp vs Augur
Chopper vs Doc Q
And Sanji vs Burgess as that's the only one left.

Considering he already had to make 2 exceptions and that Burgess probably makes more sense for either Jinbe or Franky, i don't really buy the theory.

It will never not amaze me how candies like this exist, in 2021/2022/2023 there will still be candies that believe that Lanji is going to fight the only swordsman in the BBP.
