1. Jinbe and Mr. 2 also saved Luffy, as did many others during the Marineford War. They did not have to be a D. Since Punk Hazard and Dressrosa were the first arcs after the timeskip to add a Supernova storyline, it made sense for Law to get a unique setup beforehand, especially as he was the only one among them with a central role in that early stretch.

2. It was still after the introduction. It is entirely plausible that Kidd was originally meant to be the one who is a D, since he fit better with the established patterns of D characters.

1.The entire reason Law saves Luffy is because he is a D. That scene makes no sense otherwise...Jimbei and Mr.2 were actively involved in those arcs. Law just saw Luffy on tv and he was his foe at the time.

1. Since Rosinante wasn't meant to be Doffy's brother, It's entirely possible that Rosinante was supposed to be the D. that will setup Law's link with the Will of D.:

a. Rosinante was setup to stop Doffy, a D. vs Celestial Dragon theme
b. He had the unwavering conviction to sacrifice his life to stop Doffy's plans and also save Law
c. His smile while dying further supports this, as it parallels the pattern we saw in Roger, Ace, and Luffy
d. This would still setup Law being linked with the Will of D., making him move to save Luffy
e. Saving Luffy can also be strategic, aside him being a D. (Law is a strategist)
f. Point still stands that Law was the first supernova to have a unique interaction with Luffy to setup him up for PH and DR, the first arcs to include a supernova storyline

2. Yes, thanks for the correction. But if you understand the point, it's about switching Kidd's and Law's since Law became more popular after they were introduced. Law being no.10 after their intro still supports this.
