Character Discussion Why do you not like Shanks?

He's getting better since Oda's attempting to flesh him out but he's just a boring character
He shows up once every couple hundred chapters to say or do something cool before disappearing again
Nothing personal against those that like him but I just can't imagine someone like Shanks being anyone's favorite character

He's the definition of a Gary Stu lol come on I think even some Shanks fans admit it
Very first chapter, he's introduced as a cool dude who teaches the protagonist good lessons and is willing to risk his life for him, typical good guy with good morals and looks and a very high power level
When ever we see him after that, he's typically showing off against other strong characters with him even being able to scare the shit out of an Admiral far worse than Old Rayleigh scared Blackbeard for example.
I mean... Think about that for a second. Only other wifi diff we saw so far that was so bad was when Joyboy's rope Haki send the Gorosei back to Mariejois and made Imu drop down and shake ass from the ptsd he got, and even then Oda went out of his way to make sure Shanks' dick was still wet by having Dorry and Brogy comment on how his Haki is only slightly weaker than Joyboy's (yknow, the arguably strongest or second strongest character ever).
Oda glazes Shanks hard. It's to the point where we have people denying that Shanks is below Mihawk because they just can't believe it due to how hard Oda rides his golden boy.
Doesn't change the fact that Mihawk > Shanks will always be true, though, but sometimes I feel that I can't blame Shanks wankers for thinking otherwise.
