Speculations Why does Imu want Lili/Vivi so bad?

We saw that during the Reverie, Imu had pictures of 4 characterss

1. Luffy, the MC, reincarnation of Joyboy, and the Sun God
2. Blackbeard, the foil of Luffy, reincarnation of Davy Jones, and Earth/Forest/Sea God
3. Shirahoshi, an Ancient Weapon, the current Poseidon, and potentially the Sea God
4. Vivi, the current princess of Alabasta?

What makes Vivi just as important as the other 3? Is it really just some sort of cliche love story? Or could Lili/Vivi serve an even deeper purpose for Imu?

What if Imu is currently imprisoned within the Pangea Castle, and can only manifest fractions of his power through his servants that he can use as vessels? Perhaps Lili was the perfect host for Imu’s powers, but she slipped through his grasp? And with Vivi being Lili’s reincarnation, he wants her as a vessel now?

Two reasons I think of it.
  • First
    • Cobra who was from nefatari Family, which is considered traitor by One piece world wanted an audience with 5 elders. Vivi is also from the same descendent.
  • Second
    • All of the poster Imu is holding are of special Lineage
      • Luffy - Joyboy
      • Blackbeard - Davy Clan
      • Shirahosi - Posiedon power runs in the family to someone once in a century or something.
      • Vivi - Descendent of Lili
  • Or, Third
    • Luffy is joyboy reincarnation
    • Blackbeard is Davy reincarnation
    • Shirahosi is Poseidon reincarnation
    • Won't be surprised if Vivi is Uranus/pluton reincarnation.

Depends entirely on if Imcel is male or female, honestly. If they´re a guy, then yes,he just wants Vivi as his wife. If they´re a girl, then they probably want to use Vivi as a host, similar to how Gunko is now.

And I agree that Imcel is probably not able to really leave their castle normally, for whatever reason.

Imu has memory problems. They seem to be confusing the present & the past. While it was odd but logical the 1rst time, it was repeated. I'm not sure if it's just a gimmick. This also lowkey leading me to wonder about Imu's fragility. While their will might be stronger than Luffy, it might be the only thing left of them. A shadow. As such, Vivi is a doorway to the past, a totem of survival and immortality.

Well Lily was supposed to be his ally during the ancient war. But she betrayed him and was basically the reason that the true history of what happened back then is still persisting even to this day.

My theory is, Imu was a literal "god" thing. Who wanted friends and took on a human form. He was friends with joyboy and the ancient kingdom. But he eventually grew jealous of joyboy and the ancient kingdom. And so he spread lies that the ancient kingdom had insane WMD and were going to attack the other countries. Thus he formed an alliance which became the first 20 kingdoms. They attacked and won and became the wg of today. But one of the 20, lily, probably had a relationship with joyboy or were friends with him. And she learnt of the truth before the attack and switched sides.

Imu might have also coveted joyboy's relationship with lily.

Imu's a yandere, she, SHE, was married to JoyBoy but he cheated on her, causing her to cause destruction and kill her ex husband and her ex husband's girlfriend
But since joyboy and lili had a secret kid imu got enraged and needed to hunt them down, but she can't due to JoyBoy protecting the bloodline
Now, that JoyBoy has been reincarnated into luffy, this makes it possible for JoyBoy to hurt vivi, she just needs a plan
